Anathem by Neal Stephenson

I’ve always been a Neal Stephenson fan as his books are huge in scope and detailed in the social dynamics and well grounded in science.  Anathem takes this to a new level and demands a lot from the reader: You will learn about cosmology and pick up a new (invented) version of the english language along the way.

This was a great book and I did not want it to end.  It was lengthy - 960 pages or about 33 hours on Audible - but it flew by.  If you like meaty science fiction novels comparable in scope to Dune then you should check this one out.
