What I Do

 

I am a product guy.  

I have created some industry-changing products and have learned many lessons about how to integrate product strategy, architecture and management of the creative and entrepreneurial process to yield a deeper understanding of the customer and a better product.

 

I am a storyteller.

I have deep experience running consumer-facing digital publishing operations that integrate rich data and the art of a good story to drive user engagement and monetize it.  I’ve also learned how to use customer stories inside an organization to create a customer-focused culture that innovates toward meaningful goals.

 

I am a strategist.

I believe that when great products and great stories are combined human behavior can change on  a large scale.  I have learned how to synthesize creative strategies that intersect the core appeal of a product with the untapped needs in a market.

 

I am a leader and a team builder.

In the course of building products, telling stories and strategizing I’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t.  This allows me to guide the design, recruitment and development of teams and organizations to incorporate customer-focused innovation into ongoing, sustainable practices.
