Update: Parrot vs. BlueAnt Supertooth III

Just a quick update on our dual trial of the Parrot MINIKIT and BlueAnt Supertooth III: The BlueAnt device is superior in operation and battery life.  After the Parrot “checked out” on my wife we now own TWO BlueAnt ST3’s.  We have a third car where the Parrot can live, but for our daily drivers it’s BlueAnt.

I have heard that the listening party cannot hear you properly at the other end (BlueAnt ST3), and at times hear some noise on the line. Have you tested that vs Parrot.

I am bit confused if i should buy BlueAnt ST3 or Parrot Minikit Slim.

Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not sure if the receiving sound quality is better on the Parrott vs. BlueAnt. After we had the Parrott kinda switch off on us, we more or less stopped using it and it now lives among the detritus in our garage. The BlueAnts remain in use however I can tell you that my wife's BlueAnt sounds funny to me (like she is in a tunnel and/or growling) yet in the other direction (transmitting sound from my BlueAnt) that is not the case. I suspect it is at least partially due to my wife's device not being fully charged and of the BlueAnt not signaling early enough that it needs additional charging.

Those are my hunches after over a year of operation.

All in all I like the BlueAnt.

Best,
